The Japan Patent Office reported a September 29 filing for a trademark on a "Hugtto! Precure" logo for various goods on Tuesday.

The currently airing Precure (Pretty Cure) series, Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode, had its logo filed for trademark protection in October 2016 before it premiered on February 5. The titles for some of the earlier Pretty Cure magical girl anime series were also found through similar trademark filings during this time of the year.

The Eiga Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode: Paris to! Omoide no Mille-Feuille! film will premiere on October 28 in Japan.

The 2012-2013 Precure anime series Smile Precure! has been localized in English as Glitter Force, and is available streaming on Netflix. Netflix also premiered the 2013-2014 Dokidoki! Precure anime series with the title Glitter Force Doki Doki on August 18.
