If there's one thing the U.S. has got down pat, it's superheroes.  Sure, we have our duds (COUGH, Fantastic 4, COUGH) but none are as bad as these foreign ones. 1. The Rapeman — Japan Japan is such a tough culture to figure out. On one hand, they're super respectful towards elders, and value politeness and good manners. Then, they have a superhero like Rapeman, who is a good guy.  He's a high school teacher by day (chilling) and rapist by night. He runs a crime fighting service with his uncle called "Rapeman Services." Their motto? "Righting wrongs through penetration." What. The. Hell.   2. Super Commando Dhruva —India He's basically a lame version of Robin whose parents were trapeze artists that were killed in a circus fire started by some villains.  He can talk to animals (except for gorillas, which is weird considering how they're pretty much human) and breathe underwater.  He also rolls around on a bad-ass

Every year, Japanese cosplay retailer Cospa compiles a list of the top 10 most popular cosplay outfits in Japan, based on sales data. Last year, the winning outfit went to Attack on Titan, but this year, Love Live have taken the top spot. These rankings are based on the sales Cospa has made on their officially licensed costumes, and only feature the costumes usually worn by either anime or video game characters.   The top-selling costume of the year is the Otonokizaka Academy uniform from the Love Live! School Idol Project anime/game franchise, which ranked 2nd in the previous year. The Kantai Collection/Kancolle franchise is showing its strong popularity by ranking three costumes in the top 10. It should also be noted that while Danganronpa 2 released in the U.S. and Europe in September 2014, the game actually came out on Playstation first in Japan in 2012 and then released on the Vita in 2013.
