The official website for the Love Live! franchise announced on Friday that the second season of the Love Live! Sunshine!! anime will premiere on October 7 at 10:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto. It will air later the same evening on BS11 and TV Aichi, and the evening of October 10 on TV Hokkaido, SBS, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting. A television special will precede the debut of the first episode on September 30 on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11. The special will also be livestreamed. The first Love Live! Sunshine!! anime premiered in July 2016. Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the series outside of Japan. The Love Live! Sunshine!! project was first announced in February 2015. The project's three key phrases are "Reader Participation," "Inspired by μ's," and "Seaside Town Setting." The group's name Aqours was chosen by fans by popular vote. New visual showing series heroines unveiled Konami revealed on Friday that its LovePlus EVERY smartphone game is slated for this winter for iOS and Android devices. In addition, Konami revealed a visual featuring series heroines Rinko Kobayakawa (left in picture below, voiced by Sakura Tange), Manaka Takane (center, Saori Hayami), and Nene Anegasaki (right, Yuko Minaguchi). Konami also revealed that a part of the game will be built for virtual-reality devices, and that this part will be available to preview during this year's Tokyo Game Show event on September 21-24. LovePlus character designer Tarō Minoboshi (√Letter, God Wars Future Past) along with series producer Akari Uchida had both left Konami in March 2015. A good shoujo romance is one that can make the audience members swoon. To do so, they try to be extremely cheesy and adorable as possible, making the strongest of people go “Aww!” The following shoujo scenes just do about that. The “Love is Love” anthology, co-published in late-December by IDW Publishing and DC Comics, gave itself an impossible goal: provide a meaningful response to a senseless act.
