Okay, let’s get right into this. This isn’t going to be one of the most substantive discussions of anime you’ve ever read, but that’s not why you’re here, is it?

You’re here either because you know “oppai” is the Japanese word for “boobs,” or you saw the thumbnail and saw boobs. Either way, you’re here for some giant, bouncing, impossibly proportioned anime boobs. 

So we’re going to tell you where to find the kind of substance you’re looking for: the round ones on animated girls’ chests.

10. Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou

This is a fun recent romp about a boy who lives with a collection of girls who are half-human, half… some kind of monster creature.

Not everybody in the series is exploding out of their bra all the time, but Miia (the lamia) and Centorea (the centaur) provide ample heft, and Rachnee (the spider girl), supplies a healthy dose of underboob.

Also, Suu (the slime girl) is normally flat-chested, but can shapeshift and adjust her proportions any time she takes on water. That comes into play as well.

That’s not even getting into the secondary characters. Trust me, there’s plenty to ogle here.

 

9. High School DxD

Like any anime with a harem theme, you have to know where to look for the bust. In High School DxD, Issei Hyoudou is a high school who has just been murdered in cold blood by the girl that asked him out on a date.

He is brought back to life by the massively busty Rias Gremory, and is put to work as a servant in the midst of an ongoing battle between angels and demons.

Some of your enjoyment here will probably come from Rias, but don’t sleep on Akeno Himeji, the sadistic closet dominatrix who doesn’t care if you look.

If anything, she cares because she is trying to get you to look. Anime girls get a bit exhibitionist at times when they’re trying to come on to the protagonist.

8. Trinity Seven

It’s a series about a magic high school, in which everybody has a certain set of powers based on the Seven Deadly Sins, and honestly, it’s a little hard to follow. I tried, really.

One of the coolest things about Trinity Seven is how cool male protagonist Arata Kasuga is, thrust into a situation where he’s surrounded by girls who come onto him to varying degrees.

He’s surprisingly… normal, actually. A little pervy, but not over the top. He’s clearly interested in the girls, he likes what he’s seeing, but he’s not constantly trying to peek panty shots or get gratuitous boob gropes. But when the situation works out that way, he’s just like, “oh, hey, awesome.”

7. Sekirei

Oh, this one is easy. You can’t look at the screen for five seconds during Sekirei without jiggle happening somewhere.

From the people who brought you Ikki Tousen, this is a story that is about hot girls with huge breasts who fight, whose clothes suffer convenient levels of damage as they battle.

And unlike most of the series on this list, just about every character is bursting with impossible levels of bustiness.

Bonus: The fight sequences are actually kinda cool, so as an action series, Sekirei is actually okay on its own merits. It just SO HAPPENS that all the characters are also rocking cup sizes that don’t appear on a piano keyboard.

6. Seikon no Qwaser

Okay, so it’s a popular joke to refer to boobs and fanservice as “plot,” right?

Well, in Seikon no Qwaser, boobs are ACTUALLY PLOT. Specifically, breast milk, which is apparently a source of power. Points for uniqueness, at least.

Like Trinity Seven, the plot is kind of a mess. Unlike Trinity Seven, they don’t care, because this anime is just about sucking on boobs and just barely not being a hentai series.

5. Maken-Ki!

Something something magical school special powers. Maken-Ki doesn’t even try to pretend it isn’t about boobs.

I mean, it’s a harem-style romantic comedy with improbable bust sizes, so you probably know what you’re getting into.

There’s a fair amount of fetish satisfaction here, too. If you’re the type of person who wants a girl to act like a cat, then… well…

Nobody’s gonna kink shame here. The creators of Maken-Ki! sure aren’t.

4. Sora no Otoshimono

I mean, Sora no Otoshimono just gives you boobs in a guy’s face as the cover art. There’s never a doubt.

The girl on the left getting some extra support there is Ikaros, an angel from the heavens. Why?

Because people want to see a busty angel. That’s the point of the series, duh.

Oh, right. Also, jumping rope. Because hey, what are sports bras?

3. Freezing

Freezing goes squarely in the Sekirei category: Busty girls fight each other, and clothing pays the price.

Interestingly, Freezing is unique on this list in that the creators are Korean, not Japanese.

Oh, that wasn’t interesting to you? Fine, here’s what you were waiting for. This series is about fighting an alien invasion, by the way. Can you tell?

Here’s something you might find more interesting. The second season of Freezing is called Freezing: Vibration. Do with that information what you will.

2. Queen’s Blade

Queen’s Blade takes place in a world that is ruled by a queen. And that queen is chosen by a big fighting tournament.

So… yeah, this again. Fighting starts, clothing stops, and “plot” happens somewhere.

I’m not going to lie to you guys, Queen’s Blade is probably the worst one on the list in terms of overall quality. Even the animation isn’t that great.

It makes the list anyway on account of being probably the most tasteless and shameless of the bunch. I would give that to Seikon no Qwaser, but at least the premise explains it being the way it is. If you have no standards, but want to see some insanely over-the-top fanservice, here you go.

Still not judging… but a little closer this time.

 

1. Eiken

Nope, I take it back. Eiken is way worse than Queen’s Blade, and it’s WAY more shameless.

I mean, okay. At its core it’s just a slice-of-life romantic comedy about a guy surrounded by busty women. But like, there’s busty, and then there’s… more than that.

This is a different level of busty. It’s stupidly over-the-top, like balloon animals with faces. Like, even if you love huge boobs. Like, even if you really love them, this might still be beyond your threshold.

So that’s Eiken. A deserving contender – perhaps the champion – of this list of oppai-centric anime. It’s only a two episode OVA, but you’ve basically seen the entire thing with the two GIFs above. If you’re looking for 60 minutes of basically exactly that, it exists. Enjoy yourself.
