We can all agree that what makes anime special is the eyes.

Most anime consists of artwork where the character’s eyes are exaggerated to be big, that’s what distinguishes general anime from other animated series.

Talking about eyes, we are pretty sure we’ve seen at least one instance of anime eyes that are two different colors.

This young boy with his green and red anime eyes looks like he would make one of the most adorable contractors in Darker Than Black.

Kind and good-hearted at first, Maki turns out to be immensely possessive for the people or things he obsesses about.

Don’t let this kid’s cute looks fool you; he was hell-bent on destroying the protagonist Hei out of sheer jealousy.

 

9. Zombina from Monster Musume

Zombina is an undead girl who functions as a Ninja for the M.O.N. from Monster Musume.

This busty 21 year old is not only the hottest zombie you will ever see but also one of the smartest.

Her heterochromia gives her green and yellow anime eyes. Also known as “Bina-chan”, she loves watching horror movies, especially about the undead like herself.

She also has a knack for violence and gore and frequently tries to engage in things as she gets bored easily.

8. Suiseiseki from Rozen Maiden

If you’ve watched Rozen Maiden then you’d know who this girl is.

Suiseiseki is created as the third doll of the Rozen Maiden sisters, dressed in a victorian-era styled dress, complete with a lace bonnet.

She has red and green eyes. This tsundere girl is very mischievous but also shy and timid.

Suiseiseki has the ability to interact with plants and she is presented as somewhat of a gardener.

A very distinguishing (and cute) fact about this girl is that she almost always ends her sentences with “desu” -or “yes” in the English dub.

7. Toki Fujiwara from Code Breaker

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and the steel hammer of justice for evil - as said by Toki Fujiwara from Code Breaker. Numbered “Code: 04” in the series, Toki has the ability of magnetism.

Toki is also known as ‘the joker’ for his mischievous and flirty personality. Despite being so cocky and full of pride, he can also be very respectful and caring.

The person Toki cares about the most is his sister, whom he is devoted to. Toki has anime eyes that are brown and blue.

6. Mukuro Rokudo from Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

The primary antagonist of the series Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Mukuro appears as a 15 year old mafia criminal and boss of the Kokuyo Gang.

He has red and blue eyes, with a kanji for “6” appearing in his red eye.

Initially very cold, arrogant and apathetic to people, Mukuro considers everyone as tools or means to get what he wants.

However, he’s also shown to care about his followers as well.

Mukuro can turn sacrificial to protect them, but he never truly admits or expresses how he feels in front of others.

5. Emilou Apacci from Bleach

Emilou Apacci from Bleach is the 54th Arrancar in Aizen’s army. She’s a very tomboyish girl with amber and ice-blue anime eyes.

Emilou is very impulsive and disrespectful most of the time, she also lacks patience and has a short temper.

Despite this, she can also be very loyal and considerate. According to Bleach Trivia, Emilou was named after an Italian fashion designer and politician, Emilio Pucci.

4. Soushi Miketsukami from Inu X Boku SS

Soushi is a mix of human and youkai, he’s the nine-tailed spirit fox from Inu X Boku SS.

Having blue and golden eyes, Soushi is a very handsome and charming man. He’s polite and well mannered, treating everyone with kindness.

Although he’s very caring towards his partner Ririchiyo, he admits that he gets jealous when other men interact with her.

His heterochromatic anime eyes only make him even more appealing.

3. Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass

The protagonist of Code Geass, Lelouch is one the most popular male anime characters.

Although his eyes do not always appear as differently colored, when having the Geass active in one of them they appear to be violet and pink.

Lelouch is a stoic person who can be arrogant sometimes due to his aristocratic background.

Although Lelouch is also very intelligent, he was never concerned with trivial things like school work. He does enjoy new challenges though.

2. Neko from K Project

Neko is a young female who is a Strain and also a Silver Clansman from the anime K Project.

She has messy, light pink hair that’s long enough to go past her knees. Neko has blue and green anime eyes.

She’s a very playful girl who has the ability to manipulate surroundings and people’s memories and their perceptions.

She can also transform into a little kitten. Neko’s hobbies are chasing things and eating, which she always wants to do.

Her favorite food is salted and grilled horse mackerel.

A very naive and ditzy girl, Neko is also shown to be very loyal and caring to the people she loves, whom she is very attached to.

 

1. Kakashi Hatake from Naruto

One of Konoha’s most talented ninjas and known as “Kakashi of the Sharingan”, this guy is a very cool and reliable teacher.

He acquired the red Sharingan during the Third Shinobi World war. The Sharingan gives him the heterochromia making his anime eyes appear black and red.

Usually seen with a book in his hand, Kakashi might have a relaxed, bored and uncaring attitude but he can definitely step up and show his capabilities when in need.

His Sharingan has given him the ability to excel in ninjutsu, where he is known to have imitated over a thousand jutsu, giving him the name “Copy Ninja Kakashi”.
