11 Comedy Anime Series For When You Want Some Laughs

Anime has the ability to make us sad—like, really sad.

Luckily, not all anime seems to want to market Kleenex, so, for your rib-tickling of the day.

here are 10 anime to make you laugh.

1. D-Frag!

D-Frag! is great if you want to watch our straight man protagonist react to the Game Creation Club's ridiculous recruitment methods, wondering if he's the only sane person at his local high school.

2. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou / Daily Lives of High School Boys

As the title implies, "Nichibros" is a sketch comedy about the hilariously realistic day-to-day lives of adolescent males.

From cringy roleplay to awkward encounters with girls, the main characters Tadakuni, Hidenori, and Yoshitake live their teen lives attending an all-boys academy

3. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun / Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun

Chiyo Sakura has a crush on her classmate Umetarou Nozaki, but when she confesses her love for him, the oblivious Nozaki mistakes her for a fan and gives her an autograph.

Chiyo later discovers that Nozaki is the famous shoujo manga artist named Sakiko Yumeno and decides to help Nozaki with his manga in hopes of one day developing romantic relations with him.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is a great character-driven comedy exploring the "struggles" of one-sided relationships along with parodying shoujo manga tropes.

10. Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku / Chronicles of the Going Home Club

One of the greatest strengths of this anime is its complete disregard of the fourth wall.
