News My Hero Academia Smash Spinoff Manga to End With 5th Volume in November
Comedy spinoff launched in 2015

Manga artist Hirofumi Neda announced on Twitter earlier this month that the Boku no Hero Academia Smash!! (My Hero Academia Smash) manga will end with the fifth volume in November.

Neda launched the spinoff manga on Shueisha's Jump+ app in 2015 around the time the My Hero Academia anime was announced. The manga tells original gag episodes in four-panel strips. Shueisha shipped the fourth compiled volume (pictured right) on September 4.

Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. Viz Media is publishing new chapters in its English-language digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine as they debut in Japan, and shipped the ninth compiled volume on August 1. Viz is also releasing Hideyuki Furuhashi and Court Betten's My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (Vigilante -Boku no Hero Academia ILLEGALS-) spinoff manga digitally.

The second season of the My Hero Academia anime adaptation is ongoing, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan. Funimation is streaming an English dub.
