Square Enix began streaming a game overview trailer and two "legend rare card" introduction videos for its upcoming Dragon Quest Rivals game for iOS and Android devices on Monday. The videos reveal that the game is slated to launch in Japan in early November.

The first legend rare card introduction video focuses on characters while the second focuses on monsters.

Preregistration is open for the free-to-play smartphone game. The game allows players to participate in online turn-based card games with cards featuring Dragon Quest characters and rivals. Players will make decks featuring one leader character and 30 other cards.
