The official website for the Digimon Adventure tri. anime film project revealed on Friday that the sixth and final film in the project, Digimon Adventure tri. Bokura no Mirai (Our Future), will open in Japan on May 5, 2018.

The site also revealed the film's visual.

The film will screen in Japanese theaters for three weeks. As with previous films in the series, theaters screening the film will also sell a limited-edition Blu-ray Disc. The film will also be available to stream online for a fee on the same day in Japan.

Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 1: Reunion opened in November 2015, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 2: Determination opened in March 2016, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 3: Confession opened in September 2016, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 4: Loss opened on February 25, and Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 5: Coexistence opened on September 30. The fifth film in the franchise earned more than 100 million yen (about US$882,457).

Crunchyroll began streaming all five films on the same day that they premiered in Japan.

Shout! Factory has licensed the first three films for home video. The company will release the third film on home video on December 5.
