Although our nail paints can alter with the moods and seasons but there is one negative aspect we usually ignore, which is nail paint removal.

In simple terms, nail polish remover can be dangerous. Here's why. Nail paint removers are made up of an acetone-based solvent chemical that helps to make the paint thinner.

The exposure to this chemical in high levels for a lengthy period of time has been known to cause headaches and slow down vital organ functions such as breathing, heart rate or metabolism.

The most damaging is the discoloration on your nails' natural color from pearly white to faded yellow. In addition, it can cause your nails to become dry and dry. We're not even getting into other toxic chemical compounds in nail paint but.

We started thinking and we've been researching whether there's a natural solution that does the job of eliminating the nail polish, and will not put your nails at the risk of developing cancer, and will also provide them with nutrition. It's done!

Here's a natural DIY nail polish remover that can perform like an ace.

The principal ingredients of our recipe are lemon juice. Since it is acidic, it can break down nail paint, without taking away your nails' natural shine.

Ingredients Required

  • 1 tablespoon juice of lemon

  • 3 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar

  • Cotton ball

Method of Preparation & Application

In a bowl make a mixture of fresh squeezed lemon juice and the apple cider vinegar. With a spatula, mix until the mixture is mixed thoroughly.

Put your fingers into the mixture for between 30 and 40 minutes. After the nail colour begins to fall off, use a cotton ball , gradually remove the nail colour. If there is any remnant left continue the procedure. After that you can rub your nails with almond oil to relax and replenish the nails.

You can also apply diluted alcohol for removing the nail paint that is difficult to remove. Alcohol is antibacterial and are able to work as a magic wand to your nails.
