@Nerdingperson thanks, and your welcome? I'll wholeheartedly admit I was more arrogant than I like in that response, and I made it after reading some novels that got me hyped so that explains why I made it so heated. I honestly wasn't expecting a response but thanks for the addition 😊

@bravenothic It’s cool, I think you said what you wanted eloquently tbh, I also appreciate your input on what I said. I didn’t think this comment would get such a large response, I just said it in a heated way, and thought people would ignore or dislike it. Because honestly  it’s a stupid comment, and people could just ignore it and move on with their day. I actually find it kinda funny that what I said got this much a large response.😂 But I’m glad I started a discussion, I guess? It’s nice that you actually took time to respond to shitty comment I made😊

@bravenothic Sorry for the spelling mistakes near the beginning, I wasn't paying too much attention to detail till the end.

I personally find your input quite normal as many people would definitely get quite tired of these weird first love cliches, but if you think about this plot in a different, before chapter 7, it was "similar" to the re:zero romances how Rem loves Subaru, but Subaru loves Emilia, but Emilia doesn't love Subaru(?). I don't know now though with the second season of re:zero. Back on topic, after chapter seven we find out that uh... the author girl loved the mc in the past and realized she still really does, but she had planned to get revenge on him for never going back to see her even though circumstances arose that ended his career. Sorry for the long winded criticism. Main point is, the mangaka knows what they want to write and in my opinion, they're doing a great job. Cliched or not.

I don't mind if you disagree, since once you get around the manga world you can tell what you want and what's different between a cash grab manga and "blood, sweat and tears" manga. In my plebian opinion, this manga is a sweet mixture of both.

Look, I’m just saying that fiction like this enables that kind of behavior, just like how authors romanticize abuse in fiction. I do understand that I was a little to heated, but I’m just tired of this trope. I think maybe the manga might explain how wrong it is to think this way, so yeah I probably wrote this too early. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Seriously thinking that you need to get “revenge” because your “first love” doesn’t like you back is sooooo stupid. People can’t honestly believe that your “first love” owes you, and that you need to exact revenge because your love wasn’t reciprocated....Honestly how pretentious and self-centered do you have to be to think that way?😤🙄
