Is it just me or chapter 46 is a bit tone-deaf? Right after the prince mentioned the death of roughly 100 servants and how they resent the FL, it suddenly became a flowery/sweet moment for them as soon as he knew she rejected the marriage proposal.

I like the story but this just didn't sit well with me.
