of course u cant coz it didnt have authority to delete another ai on the main database it can only acces afew informations, if ai on battleship have that authority its gonna be dangerous for example the traitor can command his battleship ai to delete other ais battleship which is dangerous for the empire

Wait if the main character who is currently a battleship AI were to have full access to the main database all the battleship AIs are using wouldn't he be able to delete all the AIs and take control of all the battleships all at once
