Character's anime designs revealed The official website for the Himōto! Umaru-chan R sequel anime announced on Friday that Inori Minase will play the new character Hikari Kongō. Hikari is a student in the special advanced class at Umaru's high school. She has a mysterious atmosphere about her, and she acts like she has some kind of relationship to the Doma family. The anime's first first DVD and Blu-ray Disc volume will include a mini PC game titled "Dara Dara Quest" (Sloven Quest). The show will have six home video volumes containing two episodes each, for a total of 12 episodes. The first home video release is slated for December 13 with the mini game and an early ticket application voucher for a special event with the cast on March 18. The staff also announced that Inori Minase will perform at the event. Himōto! Umaru-chan R premiered in Japan on AT-X on October 8.
