"Private BeruBara Academy" reimagines Riyoko Ikeda's classic historical shōjo manga Otomate, a brand for romance games aimed at female players, announced on Sunday that Riyoko Ikeda's classic historical shōjo manga Rose of Versailles is inspiring a Shiritsu BeruBara Academy ~Versailles no Bara Re*imagination~ (Private BeruBara Academy: Rose of Versailles Re*imagination) project. The project has both an unspecified "screen adaptation" and a game adaptation simultaneously in the works. New game version will get new features, fully voiced original story that brings μ's, Aqours together KLab Games and Bushiroad announced during the Tokyo Game Show event on Thursday that their Love Live! School Idol Festival smartphone game will get a new version titled Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS in 2018. The new version will include the members of Nijigasaki Academy's Idol Appreciation Club that were introduced earlier this year as part of the game's "Perfect Dream Project" (PDP). The new game will offer a completely original fully-voiced new story that will bring the members of both μ's and Aqours together. The story will include both stories that involve each school, as well as personal stories that deepen the bonds between two characters, as well as a larger story that will cross the boundaries between all three schools. The game will also bring new nine-member formation dances, and will have new gameplay systems for the concerts other than the rhythm

Manga adapts 4-volume novel series This year's 20th issue of Kodansha's Be-Love magazine announced on Saturday that a Chihayafuru spinoff manga titled Chihayafuru Chūgakusei-hen (Chihayafuru Middle School Arc) in the next issue on October 13. Oto Tōda is drawing the manga. The manga adapts Yui Tokiumi's spinoff novel series for Yuki Suetsugu's Chihayafuru manga. Kodansha released a total of four volumes between 2012 and 2015. The novels feature a series of stories detailing various characters' lives in middle school. (The original manga begins when they are in elementary school and skips to high school.) Suetsugu launched the ongoing manga in Kodansha's Be-Love magazine in December 2007, and Kodansha will publish the 36th compiled volume on November 13. Da Vinci magazine ranked it #7 in its "Book of the Year" list last year. Kodansha has released bilingual editions of the manga's compiled volumes in Japan, and Kodansha Comics is releasing the manga digitally in English.

Aksys Games announced on Friday that it North American release of the School Girl/Zombie Hunter PlayStation 4 game is slated for November 17. The game will be available physically and digitally. Aksys Games describes the game's story: Set in the Onechanbara universe and taking place at the prestigious “Kirisaku High School” (known for its balanced curriculum of sports and academics), this is a story of survival: five students cut off from the outside world and surrounded by a seemingly endless flood of ravening zombie hordes. Working together and on their own, each of the five characters has their own trials, tribulations, and triumphs as they all strive for common goals: find the source of the undead infestation, annihilate them with overpowering weaponry and fashionable undergarments, and put an end to this crisis. D3 Publisher and Tamsoft released the game in Japan on the PS4 on January 12.

(Gakkō Gurashi!) manga will return from hiatus in the February issue of Manga Time Kirara Forward on December 22. The manga went on hiatus starting in the magazine's September issue, and was planned to return by the end of the year.
