Vanguard, Future Card Buddyfight Bushiroad announced on its official website on Monday that the company's founder and representative director Takaaki Kidani will step down from the representative director position at a stockholder's meeting on October 20, and will take a position as board member of the company. The announcement stated that he is stepping down from the position so he can directly lead and manage the production of content better in the company's next three or four years, which the company calls a "decisive" period. Kidani will be focused on and be directly responsible for developing the company's intellectual property. Kidani founded Bushiroad in 2007. John Kodera appointed as new president; House remains as Chairman of SIE to facilitate transition Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on Monday that its President and Global Chief Executive Officer Andrew House has stepped down from the position, while John (Tsuyoshi) Kodera, the current Deputy President, has been appointed the new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Kodera is now also Representative Director and President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc., SIE's Japan-based legal entity. In his new position, Kodera will report directly to Sony Corporation President and CEO Kazuo Hirai. Andrew House will remain as Chairman of Sony Interactive Entertainment "through the year to ensure a smooth transition." Actor was injured in Monday performance One Piece kabuki play star Ichikawa Ennosuke IV is stepping down from the roles of Luffy and Hancock due to an injury on stage. Starting on Wednesday, During the curtain call of the midday performance on Monday, Ichikawa fell onto a stage mechanism and, when part of his costume got stuck in the machinery, he broke his arm. He was transferred to a hospital where the injury was diagnosed. Onoe Ukon will take over Ichikawa's roles. Onoe previously played Sadi-chan and Marco; Bandō Shingo will take his place as Sadi-chan and Nakamura Hayato will take his place as Marco. A timeframe for Ichikawa's return has not been set. In a comment to the Comic Natalie news website, Ichikawa told fans he is doing well. "I broke a bone, but please don't worry," he said. "I am true Gum-Gum power user Luffy!" Hikaru Katsuki's series launched in 2007; inspired 2 TV anime, live-action series This year's 46th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine is revealing on Wednesday that Hikaru Katsuki's Baby Steps manga will end in three more chapters, including the one Kodansha will publish on Wednesday. Katsuki launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2007. Kodansha published the manga's 46th compiled book volume (pictured at right) on September 15. The manga revolves around Eiichirō "Ei-chan" Maruo, a punctual and earnest boy who has strived for straight As since elementary school. The 15-year-old high school boy stops by a tennis school to deal with his lack of exercise. There, he meets Natsu Takasaki, a beautiful, earnest girl who only has passion for tennis. The manga's first television anime series premiered in April 2014, and the second series premiered in April 2015. Katsuki himself collaborated on the creation of episodes with original stories not told in the manga
